Visited the Ashton for the first time last week. Excellent food, especially the chicken pie! Our waitress Katie was very friendly and attentive although the restaurant was busy. We will definitely come back again.
First time visited in many years. Such a change it's bright and open plan lots of lovely timber beams offering different spaces. Menu was varied and lots of choices. Staff helpful and polite. Dogs welcome which is good after a long walk around Ashton Court.
Nice sounding range of interesting dishes, but quite small portion sizes for the price. Disappointingly the wholefood salad wasn't available on the day and the pudding didn't live up to its description on the menu. Nice atmosphere apart from noisy dogs.
Wow what an amazing experience at The Aston for Christmas lunch. The service from staff was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious and there was no long delays to wait especially on this busy day all four courses were fab. This was truly a lovely experience and would not hesitate to go back next year.
We have recently gone back to this pub after not going for a while. It's a very up market pub now, different from what it used to be. We went for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. Lovely food and friendly staff. Easy to park outside and good toilets.
