Lovely parkland for getting out of the city into greenery. Lots of events happen here including the Bristol Balloon Festival every August. Lots of woodlands to play hide and seek with the children, walking with the dogs, golf course, Red and Fallow Deer and two nice cafe to get food and drink. Great views over the city and lots of fresh air.
Nice country park and the scene of the balloon fiesta. Very popular during the summer. Numerous entrances lead to the country house in the middle that you can enter for a fee. There is a small cafe there and often an icecream truck. There are loads of deer around. Very very good.
Good Disk Golf course with a great course for beginners and also a satisfying advanced course. I really like the clever holes through the trees. Unfortunately the grass is very long here and it very easy to lose your disks!
Great large outdoor space for taking the dog for a walk or having a stroll at any time of day. The grounds are well kept, there is parking and a tea room. Walking paths are great,so easily to push a wheelchair or buggy around. Good land to cycle around with beautiful views of bristol.Lovely to see the manor house too, which is also well kept.A nice cafe also, with good priced food and drink.
Love Ashton court usually bring our kids here to run around and play see the animals and explore also for walks with my partner. There is small pockets of woodland for playing and more vast areas the grounds are beautiful and always kept so. Went here for my birthday this year on an air balloon ride. They can also accommodate for venues and weddings in the mansion house or in marquees within the grounds.
